I've been considering buying a macro extension tube for my canon rebel xt because I have very little money and can't afford a macro lens. I've read some reviews/blogs online and it seems to be a good option.

I've always really enjoyed photography, whether it was taking amateur photos, or just looking at everyone else's, but recently I've been secong guessing my major of ecology. I have been told that I have good composition and should try photography. So here I am sitting on this advice wondering whether or not I have the skill to become a photographer, or even to just to sell on the side.
I have officially decided to do something with this idea. I do not know much of anything about real photography, and I only have had a cheap point and shoot digital camera...
